Company Seals

Company seals are also known as common or corporate seals. Four stock sizes and three stock styles to chose from, many others available. Since 1988 it is no longer a legal requirement to use a company seal. Using a company seal still has many advantages. For example if you deal with overseas business or with people that are not accustomed to Australian conventions a company seal will give your documents greater perceived legitimacy and legality.

WHAT IS A COMMON SEAL/COMPANY SEAL?

A common seal or corporate seal is an emblem used by businesses as a symbol of authority and authenticity. A common seal has been in use since the Middle Ages when it was first introduced into Europe from Asia. In Australia, the term "common" refers to any type of seal which may not have legal standing but is still considered authentic.

WHEN WOULD I USE A COMPANY SEAL?

The main purpose of using a common seal is to show a professional brand image and give clients confidence about the legitimacy of the document they receive. It also helps prevent fraud from someone trying to forge a letter or contract.

WHAT MATERIAL ARE YOUR STAMPS MADE FROM?

Our traditional style company seals are manufactured using lasered rubber with a plastic handle. Our self-inking stamps are made using a stamp body from Colop.
